Rational Numbers - Multiply FRACTIONS

Good morning Girls and Boys,
We are moving on with our third operation using fractions, and this is multiplication.  Most of you are very familiar with this, but we are taking it a step beyond and using multiplication with negative numbers!  Yikes, we can do it.
To multiply any fraction, you multiply the numerators together then the denominators together and then to complete it, simplify the answer.  I find this far easier than adding or subtracting as you do NOT need to find the common denominator.   Have fun.
This is Megan's kitten.  His name maybe Leo but not certain as it really doesn't officially have his name yet!  Get on the ball, Megan and name that kitten!

Homework: Read the blog, watch the videos and take notes in your graphic organizer.
As always in MATH,
Mrs M
